I would rather see UConn in a bowl than Pitt.  It would show that the Big East is constantly changing and it always a force to be reckoned with.

USF scheduling to put itself in a position to be bowl elegible is lauded by many here as good program managent, yet when another program does the same thing it's critized as a cop out.  Is their overall schedule weaker than ours? Yes it is, but UConn is not as highly ranked as USF is (34/73)...and lets not forget that they have to finish high enough in the BE to get a bowl bid just as we do and we need to beat the same teams to do that.

As long as we are scheduling the McNeeses, the Elons, the Woffords,  the Samfords,  FIU , FAU, and UCF we ought not critisize the schedules of other Big East teams.

For what reason did we schedule the following teams...was it because we want to impress people or was it because we want to go to a bowl game?

87 North Carolina

97 Central Florida

102 Florida Atlantic

67 Elon (Div 1-AA)

MAN THESE TEAMS ARE BAD

It amazes me always when people complain about our schedule ... the same people would have been upset if we scheduled Wake for the 2006 season ... you do not know what kind of team you will be playing in the years following the contract.

But back to the original post ... you have a pretty good bet though that Temple & Duke will be "easy" for a BCS team.

Go BULLS !!!

PEOPLE ARE UPSET  because usf has a sos in the 60's
