Personally I really like what I hear about Davis - too bad he's a Toledo commit on Scout now too.... just holding out hope that the visit today went well enough to change his mind...

He's not a toledo commit on Scout.

He was at USF all weekend for his official visit.

I misread! I saw he was no longer listed under USF's committment list for a brief time though. This, however, made me very happy!

I just wanna say I think it's hilarious that football recruits are referred to as "kids." At 6'3'', 225 pounds, the word "kid" isn't the first thing to come to my mind. In addition, most recruits are 18, which is the age of legal adulthood. Technically, with respect to the length of a potential football career, college recruits are still closer to the beginning of their careers, but it seems somewhat patronizing to call them kids.

I hesitate to call them "kids" but seeing as how you have to be 17 to enter your senior year (in general) and the year is only halfway done(since august), i'd say about half of the players are 18 now, and half are still 17.   :)
