We get WVU early in the Florida September heat. We get UCONN and Rutgers in October, before the temps drop too low. And we get Louisville as the second to last game. The only one I wish was sooner was the PITT game that is on November 24.

Also, ESPN is committed to the Auburn game on Sept. 8th, airing it on ESPN or ESPN2. Plus a Thurs. night road game at Rutgers. We are really going to get the chance to shine in the national spotlight next year!!!!!

I think its a good schedule, but we knew it would be good months ago.  Its the best home schedule ever, so you can't hate it.  The only thing I would have done is have Auburn the third week, and have UCF the second week.  But AU must have wanted it the 2nd week and thats why it changed.  Still a very good schedule.

I knew who the match-ups would be. When calling it awesome, I was referring to the dates of the game and the fact that we are locked in for 2 nationally televised ESPN games.

I love having Auburn the second week of the seson. We catch a very young team who will still be making adjustments after they play a decent opponent in Kansas State. The later in the season we play them, the better they willbe (see USF 2006 for example).

I see what you mean, but we won't know much about our team after Elon, thats why I'd like to have seen UCF in the next week prior to Auburn.  I like getting Auburn early in the season, but this might be too early.  On the good side, there aren't many powerhouse games in Week 2 so  we can really make our mark if we upset the Tigers.  We'll be THE STORY that week in college football.  If it happened the following week, it would still be big news but nothing like week 2.

ugh, check the schedules... week 2 is actually one of the WORST weeks of the season to play for headlines

Oregon at Michigan

Miami at Oklahoma

Va Tech at LSU

ND at Penn St

TCU at Texas

Nebraska at Wake Forest

among others

The only negative is the early bye, but expecting a win 9-8-07 and we get the week to get our feet back on the ground, pimp for national press and sell season tix  8-)

I like the way it ended up being spread out ... only 5 days before Thursday Night Rutgers, but it follows UCF.

Figure Cincy will be HomeComing.

Go BULLS !!!
