Sheriff,

Speaking of Solo, I used to love his speaches that he would give.  Walking in a dark ally he is the guy you would want with you.  I know we always used to talk about that.  Solo had so much heart, I remember how much Coach Waters would stay on him, but he always showed up and worked so **** hard. Let me know if you ever see him or talk to him.  I would like to say whats up and catch up.

But if you do make the team you are treated as a full part of the team. No Rudy treatment (one of my favorite films BTW). Todays D1 programs need walkons because of the limited number of scholarships. Just look at the bowl MVP (unbelievable to think he was a walkon) and both of the  senior TEs were walkons. Many others I am sure. Really these guys are what make college sports what it is beyond the cameras and publicity. Congrate to the Sheriff.
