well, if i had known about the game and that we were almost ranked i would have gone. i suppose that is partly my fault for not following it closely but it takes more for women's basketball to spark my interest.

if the men's team was halfway decent i'd go to every game.

I believe there's a name for that....BANDWAGON FAN.

I think Athletics should buy a few electronic marquees and place them around university that will continually display game schedules and athletic news. This would help pass the word around to anyone around the university.

Does USF have some type of attendance competitions between the Fraternities, sororities and dorms?

3.Pitt 3,974

4.Louisville 3,132

Ari, Jose isn't going anywhere next year, its not about money at all, he loves coaching here, he just wants more support for his team, that is it, nothing else to it.

Don't forget the 2 NIT trips and the NCAA berth last year.

For the record, I listened to the wed night 5-6 radio show that Coach Fernandez and Prado have on 1010, and Fernandez was disappointed that his comments overshadowed the players and their big victory. He didnt back off of his comments at all, but he was very quick to give the players credit for the game they played and hoped everyone else would do the same.

As far as my thoughts, I agree with what he said and Im glad he said them when he did. Hell, he did more marketing in about 10 words than the marketing dept has done in 2 years!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
