This is subject to a coin flip for the Bucs and the Browns. It is also subject to playoff exit positions. I have the playoff teams listed using the same criteria as the non-playoff teams for now. Trades are not factored in either.

c3. Cleveland Browns

c4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

5. Arizona Cardinals

6. Washington Redskins

7. Minnesota Vikings

8. San Francisco 49ers

9. Houston Texans

10. Miami Dolphins

11. Atlanta Falcons

12. Buffalo Bills

13. St. Louis Rams

14. Carolina Panthers

15. Pittsburgh Steelers

16. Green Bay Packers

17. Jacksonville Jaguars

18. Cincinnati Bengals

19. Tennessee Titans

20. Denver Broncos

21. New York Giants

22. Seattle Seahawks

26. Philadelphia Eagles

27. New York Jets

30. Chicago Bears

31. Baltimore Ravens

32. San Diego Chargers

Remember, 21-32 are subject to the playoffs.

I heard there was a coin flip as well.  I don't think head-to-head would work because if 2 teams were tied going into the last game and faced each other, try should try to lose.  not that detroit shouldnt have tried to lose anyway...oh well, i dunno.

any thoughts on who the first pick will be?  i'm not sure brooks isnt a good QB but the OL and coaching staff isn't very good right now.  just seems like whoever they pick is doomed for a few years.

"And with the second pick of the 2007 NFL draft, the Detroit Lions pick Calvin Johnson, wide receiver from Georgia Tech"

LOL.  He is the best talent at #2 but they cant pick him no matter what.  The Bucs should try to grab him.

I thought that since the Bucs beat Cleveland, the Browns get the 3rd pick

The draft is based on Strength of Schedule. If two teams are tied for SoS, then the Division or Conference tie breaker procedures are used if applicable. If two teams are still tied, then a coin flip is used. Since the Browns and Bucs are in different conferences, then the next applicable tie breaker was a coin flip. I believe the coin flips are done at the NFL Combine, but I may be wrong.

Teams 25-32 are subject to the rest of the playoffs. When they exit the playoffs and who they exit with will determine the draft order for 25-32. The Bucs and Browns will have a coin toss to determine who picks 3rd and who picks 4th. Trades are not included.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
