I hate to take the air out of all of your balloons, but WF couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight.  They missed everything from three pointers to lay-ups on a regular basis.

how is that taking air out of a balloon?

when we lost our games we couldn't shoot either.  does that mean those losses werent as bad?

i guess people on this board don't really understand basketball too well.  a teams FG% has just as much to do with them shooting as it does the pressure the defense puts on the ball.  mattis blocked a ton of shots and changed even more,  bozeman put excellent pressure on the shooters.

i think the 2 things we need to improve on would be the ball control for sure, but also limiting offensive rebounds.  wake had a few too many tonight.

Well not having a real point guard and having two guys that have only been in real games for only six games could be the problem. Lets see if we improve as year goes on. Also we played a  great defense on their center

3 of those 6 games were back-to-back-to-back with no practice in between.  hard for the new guys to get adjusted.

CRM did a good job tonight, but that was not a very good Wake Forest team.  

Everyone on this board needs to be at the Louisville game on 1/10 to try and salvage this season.  The Cards are beatable but we will need to have a full house.

The team played good defense tonight.  WF couldn't hit anything from the outside and CRM did a good job at setting the defense to force them into outside shooting.  WF only shot 37%.

It's a good win for us.

Good win, great effort by the players, poorly coached game especially at the end. I saw Buckley argue with Mac towards the end about the in bounds play, Mac yells at him and then shakes his head as if to agree with Buckley. Buckleys reaction was like "what a head case!!!" Mac is psycho! He looses his direction, yells at players and has them do stupid plays that do not work. Bucley, Mattis and Verdejo started to move around without the ball to try to get open. Mac yelss at them to stay still. End result, turnover, turnover, forced outside shot. Those three players have O confidence in the coach. I wonder why!!! Great job by the kids.
