We have a boatload of studs LB just waiting to get a shot in there. If we start

Moffitt

Mompremier

Peoples or RS freshmen

We will be ok.

Moffitt has plenty of experience and Mompremier has played in spots and is a load of talent.

One thing many forget is that all those RS freshmen LB, Mompremier and Peoples were more highly ranked than Moffitt or St Louis.

Our future at LB is SOLID

Yes, I did intend that Moffitt will be in the NFL in 2008  8-)

But a depth chart really is tough with all this talent. WHICH IS GREAT !

:)

DO NOT forget our redshirt freshmen LBs, especially McQueen and Glover who are both 230-235 and very strong, stronger in fact right now than our current starters. These guys are the real deal and will definitely compete for starting positions.

I dont think Moffitt will be moved from middle.

I look at McKenzie to start in Nicholas spot if he comes in and Mompremier to be at St. Louis old spot. Spires will be backing Moffitt

Robinson will start in Nicholas spot at strong side LB.

McKenzie would start in St. Louis spot at weak side LB.

Robinson - Moffett - McKenzie  --- that is a GREAT line up.

not worrying that much about losing your best player on defense is a great feeling.  hope everyone plays up to expectations because it seems every other defensive position should be better next year, assuming no one gets worse or injured.

We will have 6 plus LB's that should wreck havoc on the Big East ... just keep rotating them to keep 'em fresh.

LOVE IT !!!

Remember Tyrone McKenzie was first team all-big ten and led the conference in tackles, and TFL.  Kinda a big pick-up if you ask me.  Especially when he could conceivably have two years of eligibility.

I meant that was the B12, and he was voted 2nd team by the Sporting News.  He was 2nd on their team with 129 tackles, and 9.5 TFL.

Pretty impressive still.
