Definately winning championships, Conference and National Titles.

What the program does on the field is always most important.

Based on your narrow selection, winning.

Because winning will pretty much cure all

of your ills.

Graduating players doesn't hurt either.  All of that comes before having NFL players.

Miami gets a majority of their top recruits because they send their players to the NFL. I think a championship is out of reach for a lil bit, but the more players we send to the NFL the better off we will become in the future.

Although winning championships is important if you look at the big programs in the state UF has 1 NC, FSU has 2 and Miami has 5, each of those schools have been around for awhile.  I would have to imagine that most players are going to those schools for the possibility of playing at the next level, more so than playing for the NC. Also winning a championship does not guarantee future success refer to BYU. Consistently putting players in the NFL will do more for a program over the long run than winning an NC once every ten or twenty years.

It's a good discussion and can be looked at many ways.

A Top QB & WR currently in the NFL, McNabb & Harrison ... 'cuse grads  8-)

I think the appropriate point is 'consistent'... Miami usually has 2-3 first rounders and often 6-7 draftees.
