I think a championship is out of reach for a lil bit, but the more players we send to the NFL the better off we will become in the future.

I would have to imagine that most players are going to those schools for the possibility of playing at the next level, more so than playing for the NC. Also winning a championship does not guarantee future success refer to BYU. Consistently putting players in the NFL will do more for a program over the long run than winning an NC once every ten or twenty years.
