USF Defensive Coordinator Is Back In Tampa Posted Dec 22, 2006 by Vidisha Priyanka Updated Dec 22, 2006 at 01:47 PM By Brett McMurphy The Tampa Tribune BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - University of South Florida defensive coordinator Wally Burnham will return to Tampa on Friday night to be with his ailing mother, Cora, who has congestive heart failure. Burnham and the USF football team are here preparing for Saturday’s Papajohns.com Bowl against East Carolina. It is unclear whether Burnham will be back in time for the 1 p.m. (EST) kickoff. USF coach Jim Leavitt said family comes first and Burnham needs to take care of his family issues and that should be his No. 1 concern. http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/newswire/story/usf-defensive-coordinator-back-in-tampa/
