Haha, I grew up in Tennessee and I must admit I have a love for the VOLS!  However, they are still NUMBER 2!!  I am especially excited because I have family members flying down to go to the game with us so it will be a big reunion.  I actually had 46 yard line front row tickets to the UF-Tenn game in the swamp last season (which is gold if you are a fan of either team) and I gave them up to attend the first USF-UCF game!!  So, if that doesnt describe my passion for the Bulls, nothing will.  It did hurt though, I won't lie!!  Since I moved to Florida, I haven't gotten to see the Vols play, so it is special for me to be able to host my family and see the Vols play in my town.  I can't wait to show them USF and my city!   That's why I am so excited!      :)

hmm, I just read a newspaper article today about the Cotton Bowl.  Nebraska had only sold 9K, and Auburn was around 10K or so.  I think each team was allocated 12.5K, and they were saying how it was a harder game to sell the allotment to.

I know this might come as a surprise, but I bought several Outback Bowl Tickets as well....

And UK fans don't mess around when it comes to travelling, there was A LOT of blue in the stadiuw a few weeks ago when UK visited UT.

NIU had 8k?!?!?

It looked like they had about 1k at the game yesterday.

It was mostly TCU fans.

Joe, can you confirm?

Yes I can confirm that NIU sold 8k, they sold 4k to their fans, then through that they sold an extra 4k which were donated to the Navy base in San Diego.

It was similar to what USF had set up with buying extra tickets for students or charity.

As for the Cotton Bowl, I'll trust the numbers I have, they came from a very good friend of mine who works for a newspaper in the Dallas area.
