I would say 8 or 8:30ish at one of the hotels that is closest to stadium.... It would be quite a site to convoy to stadium and would guarantee that we would all be parked in the same lot...  Is it possible to get a "rally" area?   And yes this would be for those not attending the AA Tailgate. Thoughts?

1st...what is the "AA Tailgate?"

2nd...I will be flying into Atlanta, then traveling by car with 4 others to the game. We where thinking of purchasing 3 parking spaces to tailgate but I wasn't sure if there is a specific lot for USF fans. Also, am I correct in understanding that the USF Pre-Game Tailgate isn't even in/on nor around the parking lot of the stadium? That's one of the reasons why I haven't purchased any tailgate tickets.

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thx

I'm not going to be able to make it to Dreamland, but I would like to tailgate around Bulls fans......not sure if I will have access to internet at the dump I'm staying at, so I probably won't be able to find out where/when everyone is meeting up here either.

A mall or shopping center such as Walmart or large grocery store parking lot might be better.

Qbanbull, I thought I read the same thing about buying extra spaces.

I called Legion field. You can not. What you can do, according to

Kevin Moore, the parking superintendant at the field, is pay $10.00 for room behind your car for a tent/canopy.

Of course if we all drove in at the same time...

GO BULLS!

Guys,

According to Vicki, there will be a large USF tent set up near the stadium for Bulls fans to gather. Also see that there is no cost for this!

The rest of the schedule:

Friday night:

Five Points Reception:  The Alumni Association is working on a fan reception similar to what we did last year in Charlotte.  It will at least be a gathering place for Bulls fans, and a place to get started.  They'll let us know more soon as plans become finalized.

Bull Bash ($100, B&A Warehouse):  Huge buffet & open bar from 7 til midnight; live band.   Limited tickets left.

Saturday:

Brunch ($50, $15, free 3-0, Sheraton Ballroom):  Pre-game brunch from 9-10:30

USF will also have an 80x100 tent at the Stadium Saturday morning, and will let you know soon what will happen there.   There won't be a cost.

More details soon, but hope that helps.

Vicki

If I recall from last year, the Alumni tent basically gave away green and gold pom poms, beads, face painting, etc. for all of the Bulls fans.  It isn't any kind of tailgate just so you all are aware.

Yes,

But this would be a great place to meet and bring your own tailgating supplies.
