Im not one to defend smazza and his USC love but even with top recruiting classes you cant replace college players the caliber of Reggie Bush and Matt Lienart over night.  Those two were a HUGE key to USC's success over the last few years during their run.

steve-look who you are trying to explain college football to? dotn waste your time.i have spent years trying to point out the nuances to both of them but they cant seem to grasp basic concepts

et and uskmikeb are in their infancy in understanding the game
