According to usa today they (Michigan State) will have press conference to announce his hiring today at noon.. Maybe coker or amato will wind up at cincy....

I think that's nuts.  They had a good team this year.  Thier schedule was just to monsterous

I don't think he was fired.  Sounds like he took the job at Michigan state.

Yes.

I think that's a big loss for the conference.  

Dantiono went to the same high school as me in Ohio and was on the Ohio State staff I believe.  Surprised he would go to a Michigan school.

Dantonio was at Michigan State under Saban and still had several contacts in the MSU athletic Department.

I imagine the NBE will be a good stepping stone conf to the big 5 bcs.  rumor has it SMU and Coker are talking.

We'll see him in 2012 & 2013 ... hopefully he makes them stronger and we have a Top 25 Mich St team to play those years.

But most importantly, hopefuly Cincy gets a great coach. Wonderful opportunity with BCS and their facilities. Chuck Long has midwest ties and is out in San Diego ...
