We don't really deserve a top 25 vote after some of our struggles this season. We will EARN everything we deserve in the next couple of years. At least nobody can complain that we're overrated this year. We're gonna get there but we're gonna have to earn it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Personally I think we'd beat many of those teams ranked in the bottom 25 and "others receiving votes." I am obviously biased though.UCF had 29 votes last year when we dominated a questionable conference. USF beat us both years and took down top 10 teams and you dont deserve some votes? This is just another example of how the ranking systems in college football are totally inconsistent and flawed. That to me gets you at least a dozen votes!I have always said you guys get no love. Maybe you should go 0-17 and then 8-3. That will get you pub. Though a good accomplishment it is amazing how screwed up publicity and rankings are. I for one will take it. Thats the good thing about doing bad. When you do something good you get all the love in the world. Kind of like a marriage!

Rutgers beats WV and gets the auto conference bid. If I was UL and didn't get a bid when they're top 6 then I'd be pretty pissed. It's not like their fans don't travel well.On to this topic. I thought we'd get a vote...as least one. We lost to Rutgers by 2 at home, and beat a GREAT WV team on the road. You tellin' me we're not better than Houston? And Hawaii? Please! The problem is mor so now that people vote to place other teams instead of who deserves to be ranked.

Houston has played non ranked Miami and Oklahome State...yet they're getting votes. After those two teams they play their crappy conference schedule and a 1-AA team.Hawaii played only Boise State and Alabama (lost to both!) and they're top 25. After that they played their super crappy conference schedule and are top 25.So why did we not get a vote? Oh, that's why--we're USF and no one knows us yet. But the time will come...if we keep up what we're doing we'll get the respect soon.

There's a lot of 1 loss teams that SHOULD be ahead of them. Now as for ND--they need to get an at large bowl so I won't complain. If ND fell lower than 14 they'd take the Gator so I'm glad that they didn't fall all the way down.Boise State jumped higher than I thought, and so did Oklahoma. That puts BSU in a BCS bowl for sure, and now Oklahoma is a threat to an at large.
