I'm looking forward to the remaining of this basketball season. I think that trip to Europe during the summer for them was able to bond them together a little more! I know this is only the beginning of the season and haven't played that many teams yet but I think great things will come this season! I think overall the BIG EAST is going to be down compared to the last few years. I believe that this is the year that USF needs to make the BIG EAST Tourny. Not exactly a bad season. That included a win @ then #14 UNC and a 4 pt loss at then #4 Duke. They were in the NIT last year and had 2 wins before losing to Michigan and I believe they only lost a couple players off their roster from graduation. Diaz and the other guy(cant recall his name) were good players. I think Buffalo is not that bad of a team though. Buffalo has to be better than Jacksonville, North Florida, and those other cupcakes games that UF has played this season. I am going to contain myself about getting excited about hoops this season because it seems to jinx the team everytime that I get my hopes up. I will still watch and root for the team, I am just not going to let it take my emotions too high like in the years past. The goal for me is to have USF make the BIG EAST tourny. Anything less than that is grounds for a new coach in my opinion.

If we can continue to play well without those key guys, i think that will translate very well when the others join the mix.
