why is ponton not the man?

he does not seem to get the carries. why?

is he stiill in cjl's dog house?

does he not have the talent?

does he not practice well?

is he not in shape?

does he have the dropsies?

is it the O-line?

If you watched Saturday Ponton had 12 carries, he had 1 run of 24 yards, the other 11 caries averaged 1.8 yards.

Yes, he is better than Williams, and I would start him and give him teh ball more. But he's not SO much better that it's a travesty that he's not seeing the ball.

i agree hes not that much better....but at least hes better

he should be starting

i think its just the fact that he was suspened earlier and cjl doesnt want him to start becuase of tht...

I honestly dont know why but i think he will have to have success for us to win either or both of the next 2 games.  Most running backs get better with the more carries they get too.  It allows a back to get into the flow of a game and see the hole better it just puzzles me why we dont pick a back and stay with them.

I have been asking that question since he came back.  He is a ton better than Williams, and even if you think he's not that much better, he is better, so he should be getting the carries.  To me, he seems to have much better vision and has the ability to move the pile better than Williams.

we all ask the same thing in our section. without question he hits the hole faster and has better vison. he should get the bulk of the carries.

I don't understand why Ponton doesn't get more carries either ... here's hoping he does the next 2 games because I BULLieve he's the better back that will give us a better chance.
