Notre Dame vs USC is going to be pretty huge. No way does USC or Notre Dame get shut out of the championship game if one of them runs the table from here on out in my opinion.

AP jumped Rutgers over LSU and WVU to move to 7th.

There is a problem when the likes of CMU, MTSU, Tulsa, and Houston with identical records playing in far weaker conferences are receiving votes and we are not.  Where are the votes from BE coaches?  CMU????  MTSU????  What is going on here.

I think ND will if Michigan loses a close one to Ohio State. How would any voter put a 1 loss Michigan out of the title game over 1 loss ND.

ND needs a lot to happen to get in the title game.

If USC wins out they are in.

If USC loses and Florida wins out, Florida is in.

If USC and Florida lose and Arkansas wins out, it will come down to Rutgers, Arkansas, Michigan and ND for the final spot.

There are 100038493893 other combinations, should be interesting.

The good news for the BE is that LOU did not fall too far.  RUT moved way up.  WVU looks back on track and has moved up nicely.  The best news, though, is that WVU and RUT don't play until the last game of the season.  This should make for another great BE showdown with obvious BCS implications.

Of course, all of this will mean nothing as USF will beat LOU and WVU!!

Also, not to be overlooked is the fact that WF is now only one spot behind BSU.

BSU is not a top 25 team.  This is not a situation like utah a few years ago.  BSU is barely beating some seriously inferior competition.

CMU's SOS is 50th and they've lost 3 games, 2 of which are against ranked opponents

MTSU's SOS is 85th and they've lost to 3 ranked teams.

We've played the 109th ranked schedule and lost to 1 ranked team and two teams that are going to struggle to qualify for bowls.

Simply put we've played and beaten no one and as a result we aren't getting the respect. It can all change this week.

BullBlood, I'm sorry Boise is undefeated and destroyed Oregon State whereas Wake has a loss and beaten 1 team with a winning record, Boston College. (Currently Boise's SOS is higher than Wake's)

If people are going to cry about Rutgers not getting respect you cannot complain about Boise. Boise should not be a top 10 team, however, they are also not a terrible team. Being ranked 13th is about where they should be and where they should stay should they win out.

If Wake beats Va Tech they'll move ahead of them.

Actually, they will.  Florida will be ahead of them in the Computer Polls last week, and are ahead of them in the Coaches poll this week (Harris poll is not out yet).

As long as Florida wins out, they will stay ahead of USC -- and in the National Championship game.

Because Michigan beat Notre Dame 47-21 -- in South Bend.

Florida is ahead and will stay ahead of USC. If both lose, it will be a OSU-Michigan rematch.
