Southwest offers a early morning flt to birmingham and a late evening flt back to tampa.  The game is at noon, so good scenario for bulls wanting to go for just the day.

I'll book that once we are locked in. The way today's games have gone has potentially opened up some other bowl options for us. There is going to be a major shakeup in the Top 10.

You will miss some of the Bowl Game excitement... it's not just about the game... there will be a few things to do in Birmingham related to the game.

Just something else to keep in mind.  I would not book the flight just yet.

I know about the excitement of the other events, as I was in Charlotte for the MCCB, but the less time I spend in Birmingham the better.  I promised never to return to that city, and especially that stadium after we played Bama there a few years ago, but will sacrifice if USF is invited there.

If Notre Dame, the WVU/RU winner, and Louisville all get BCS Bids... and Pitt & Cincy end up at 6-6... then there is a good chance we get the Texas Bowl... and a very slim chance that we get the Gator Bowl.

I know there will be things to do there, but as a Men's basketball season ticket holder I would like to attend the game on 12/22. Flying to and from Birmingham the same day is not bad since the game is so close to Christmas.
