I had a great trash talking conversation last week with an NFL player that was a Pitt grad.  His comment that got me was that Pitt looks at USF as a "statistic" along the way.  It was all in fun, but it kinda gave you a glimpse of the attitude towards us.

To finally beat Tyler Palko is so gratifying. This was the year he could do no wrong... and our defense came up so huge. Seeing the Pitt kid the throw the middle finger up... what a great job by our fans to antagonize his ass! I was one happy camper watching them run the 2-point conversion from the 18-yard line! I will enjoy the Pitt meltdown. Matter of fact... I was at a bar last night when these earth muffin chicks walked in... low and behold... the girl that sat closest to me stated she just graduated from Pitt and was going to American University before she would join the peace corp. I gave her ass such a hard time about the loss. It's good to be the king!

I think the Panthers would do much better in Conference USA.

The comment about us getting the most for our money because CJL's haircut had to cost less than $1.50.

I thought that was a great quote.  Leavitt probably cuts his own hair.

That would be my guess too..
