You hit it on the head there, Pitt's fans have always had a bit of a superiority complex.  It is one thing to have pride in your program, but another thing altogether to think that you're a perennial candidate for the NC when you haven't been in the top ten in recent history.

I was sold on this rivalry when the Sheriff said that he got into a fight against the Pitt players at the Insigtht Bowl. To this day, I am believing Pitt is one of our bigger BIG EAST rivals.
