We're a hard team to get a read on because we have only played one quality team and i feel they are pretty overrated and they ran the ball down our throats and beat us with a one dimensional offense.  This week will be the second best test we've had and pitt will be the real measuring stick.

I don't think you need blind optimism here.  There are a lot of things looking positive right now.  Clebert not out for season, Ponton as good as we (well, me and others) thought he'd be, Ben Williams honestly is looking like a good backup now, defense is improving especially against run defense, randolph one of best returners in the country and hopefully is healed after mostly resting last week and an extra day of rest, Julmiste contributing and now has a game under his belt this year, WRs all contributing and Edwards was able to rest last week with minor injury due to our depth there.  Oh, and we have Grothe at QB.

That said, none of that means anything if we lose to Cincy.

Cincy will kill us?

C'mon now, Cincy isnt exactly UL or WVU.....Even though they did hand with UL this past weekend, I think that they(Brohm) was just a little rusty. It takes time for a team to get re-acclimated with its QB.

I think it will be a very good game on Sunday, and a big game for the program because it is on national TV.

Does anyone know what the Sunday night NFL game is? I wonder how many people are gonna channel flip back from USF to teh NFL game?

no NFL sunday night game this week due to the world series.  leaves USF as the only football option
