just heard on espnews that miami is having a meeting with the board of trustees on monday to discuss "the direction of the football program"

among the topics will be suspensions, cokers job....and there are even some rumors out there that miami might forfeit a bowl bid this year to try and prove a point that they really do care about their image.  didnt clemson do that after their fight with south carolina?  or whoever it was they fought

yes, USC and Clemson declined bowl bids in Lou Holt's last year after their fight... and their fight looked pretty tame compared to what happened with UM/FIU, if I remember correctly

And UM's president thinks her punishments were fine ... just wish a reporter would ask her if she thinks FIU went too far in their punishments.

Granted, UM had a bad rep, but they haven't done enough to change it.

The UM president is scum.  She willingly tried to destroy an athletic conference.

She did respond about the FIU vs Miami punishments.  She said that if you look at what each player did, the Miami punishments are "equivalent" to the FIU punishments.  As of a few days ago, she still had not seen video of the brawl.
