sad the Footbulls are away and it would be a great even to go to the night before a game. CAB is really messing up here

This isn't the first time Midnight Madness has been cancelled on campus. The event took a hiatus in 1999 and 2000. In 2001, only 3,500 students came to the Sun Dome for the event.

More than what show up at the games so maybe we should cancel the season

Thats a good point... when I was in the pep band last year I used to count the "fans" that came to both womens and mens games.  We broke 100 every now and then... Sometime through the first half a few more fans filled out the mens games...

It's a shame... we are getting RID of traditions, just when we are really trying to build them up (at least in SG).

SG was denied its request for $0.66 to strengthen traditions on campus. Instead, it received an increase of $0.15 cents from last year's A&S increase.

"It's lower than what we initially asked for, so that's going to hinder the speed with what you're going to see with traditions on campus," SG student body President Frank Harrison said. "However, the amount is going to still provide a means to improve Homecoming and our new spring traditions."

I believe that are still in talks... or they have him.  I don't deal with that stuff... but I'm asking one of the other cabinet directors today to find out... for myself of course

I agree. Following thier logic perhaps we should cancell all the sports except Football.
