i know that a loss is a loss....

but we have lost 2 games by a combined 8 points.  both games could of easily been won.  both teams will be in bowl games that we lost to.  

now, if we lose this week then we have problems.

but i think all you "fans" out there who are saying that we are no good and that we are in for a long season...you are just wrong.

when ponton comes back it will open it up that much more for grothe.

my biggest concern is our kicking game.  terrible.  it has cost us both games.  missing a sure FG and 2 terrible punts.

Kicking is a concern, but we do have a good team. Look at the LB's, DB,s WR's and of course, our QB.

I agree about the kicking game (last post from me regarding the kicking game until the next game). You can not look out how many points  we lost the games by without looking at how ugly the wins have been. It is always better to win ugly then lose the way USF lost against KU and RU but both have to be looked at. USF could have still been 3 - 2 with wins against KU and RU but lost to UCF and FIU.

We arent terrible but we do have some glarring concerns.  Giving up 226yds to a one dimensional offense really concerns me.  Im just glad WVU and UL are at the end of the season so we have some time to get our run defense straightened out.  Hopefully we can go out and romp Ucant this weekend in a pay back game to get our confidence up for a run of VERY winnable games.
