Smazz, what good would it do to keep them off the team the remainder of this season?  Seeing that the team is suffering because of their absence, wouldn't extending that suffering past the policy guidelines only increase the animosity towards them and perhaps the coaches?  Why should everyone's season be tanked?  To prove a point to a few guys that likely already get  the point?  Why not just tell them they will be tested regularly and the next incident, if there is one, results in their dismissal and loss of scholarship?  Wouldn't that suffice instead of watching the season go down in flames and all the blame being put on them prior to their return the following season?  Give me some good reasons please.

again it depends your philosophy

if you want to win 6 games this year and go to a bowl you let them play

if you want to send a message that such conduct will not be tolerated and you reward guys that fly straight

you dont let the 3 plays this year

i favor the latter

others want them off the team all together and  my way isnt that harsh

usf has bad discipline problems that dont ever seem to be addressed

Since alot of us believe we would be 5-0 going on 6-0 if these guys were playing, and with FSwho losing last night, we would be in teh top 25 with FSwho and MIMI not.

Can you imagine the press we would have.  We would be in the big 2.   The national press would be all over us.
