I think it was a mixture of running AND passing that got them there.

Why give up on the passing game so close to the end zone????

i did not mean that sucks literally. i just wished we would have scored. i agree with cjl, i want 7 over 3. matt has been good at converting those 4 and short plays.

i say we should of ran it...my only complaint is that i would of liked to see a sweep, option type play.  but either way, if the play worked this topic would be in such praise for Leavitt and Grothe.

I didn't agree with the call. We're on the road, we drive down the field, we should come away with the points.

Everyone in the stadium knew what play we would run.

Yep, I thought Grothe had the first down on 3rd when he reached out with the ball.  But I like the call going for it.  We were on their two yard line, just minutes into the game.

yeah a good point. i was a little sad, but certainly if the game was in tampa this one was ours. our team proved they could play in rowdy environment. beat rutgers and well shock people again.
