Love this sound of resignation from UCF's President Hitt, regarding a "rivalry":
"I don't want to complicate things for [uCF AD] Keith [Tribble], but if we keep doing things the right way, we can get where we want to go with or without [south Florida]."

Tribble, standing there, said: "I agree."

Looks like Hitt and O'Liar hired themselves a "yes" man...as their Athletic director.

I thought that was painfully obvious from the start?  They all play from the same book.  And boy when it crashes, it is going to come down hard.

Doesn't it feel really good to beat that other school, with a quarter century head start in football, that is content to take sloppy seconds in C-USA, that now can only hope for a tie in this 4-game series? I think it's beautiful.

Greg, being the superb reporter you are, do you have a source for that 3,267 figure you quoted from the NCAA?

I'd like to tuck it away for future arguments... er, reference.   ;)

Was trying to verify the 3267 figure. Got it from a guy at City of Orlando that did not want to be identified ... hadn't heard  the 3267 before that myself ...
