According to Sagarin, when the lines open it should be....

USF -4.5 over UCF

Sounds about right to me.  The way both of us have been playing it should probably be a pick 'em.  I wouldn't bet on this game for anything.

Interesting, because the home team usually gets 3 points in the odds... Vegas thinks USF should win by a touchdown then...

If the team that played last night shows up, I'm not sure about that.  Could be a long night for USF...

Then again, if USF is able to correct their mistakes... could be a long night for UCF.

You're right Jim.  Sagarin gives the home team 3.5 so USF is really favored by 8 without that.

I agree with smazza. The team needs to have a very focused week of practice. I certainly see that happening.

Is anyone really going to put money on this game either way?  I'm just going to put mine on the Over for every game left on Boise State's schedule.

To me USF is the underdog in this game against UCF. USF has really never been that great on the road, and I know UCF wants this game more than just about anything. This game is going to have a huge crowd, and they are going to try to rattle the hell out of our young players. I think USF will be lucky if we get a win in this game. However, I dont think UCF has a chance next season against USF when they come to our house. Next season, USF should have a much improved and battle tested team to easily beat UCF in my opinion. So I just hope these UCF people understand that USF will still be in good standing for the long run even if they do lose to UCF. Fire away!!!!
