I think it is in everybody's best interest for that stadium to be packed.  What bowl will select us if we can't even bring 10K to a game that is less than 2hrs from here?  And now with Navy's deal with the MCC bowl we need to show that we travel well.  Also, back to marketing, is 800gobulls telling everybody what color shirt to wear? If not, who can I contact in there to convince him/her of doing so?

In case you are new to college football....most fans wear clothing/hats, etc...that has colors/logos of their favorite team.

Just thought I would let you know so no one at that office would laugh at you.

KL

Well since evidently you have never watched a football game, fans from opposing teams usually wear one solid color so they can be more noticeable in the stands, and on TV.

I'm thinking that was a feeble attempt at humor on K_L's part. Even he isn't THAT stupid ...

I thought that at first but you never know with UCF fans.  You can't blame them since teams like Rice and SMU don't really roll deep.

it is an away game-- it's UCFs job to promote this game.

:)

Exactly.

By the way, if everyone in the Tampa Bay area is so geeked up to play UCF, why would they need to market it? :-X

No marketing necessary anyhow.  The Sentinel, Tampa Trib, St. Pete Times and the George "Tim Hortons" O' Leary will provide all the marketing necessary.

I imagine the Oracle and that dude (the one that lost the bet and never showed) from the UCF paper will even throw a few barbs.  God knows the Oracle could hang that (a welched bet) over their head.

The guy from the Future has since graduated and hasn't worked for the paper since the end of last fall.

I'll be there with my family...Only problem I am still figuring out is how to get the tickets. I hear they are $5. I have someone getting back to me tomorrow about that though. I hope there is a lot of USF support in Orlando next weekend!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
