Another key aspect is that his father (Phil Simms) is from Louisville and they still have plenty of family there.

No, he was going to Louisville 2 weeks ago he just waited til after his visit there to announce. USF was on his list, but was never a very serious choice when it came down to the decision.

How can you say that we lost this recruiting battle when these guys have yet to play their senior years in HS, nor have yet to set foot on campus from their Freshman year of college?

SIMMS IS A TOP RATED 5 STAR QB

VOSS IS NOT RATED AND IS A 3 STAR MAYBE

CARDS WON THIS RECRUITING BATTLE

QB IS MOST IMPORTANT POSITION

we didnt cATCH THEM

THEY WERE 9-3

SIMMS IS A BETTER PROSPECT THAN VOSS

USF LOST THIS RECRUITING BATTLE

They didn't catch us. You could make a very easy arguement that we played a much more difficult OOC as well.

CARDS HAD A TOUGHER SCHEDULE

THEY DID NOT PLAY 1AA TEAM

CARDS BEAT PITT AND UCONN

LOUISVILLE BEAT 8 BCS TEAMS

USF BEAT 4 BCS TEAMS

WHILE IT IS TRUE BULLS BEAT CARDS

EVERONE THOUGH CARDS WERE A BeTTER TEAm by end of the year

with the acquisition of simms the strong get stronger

See my post on the main board for how clueless and uninformed you are on this one. Rivals ranks both Simma and Voss as IMPACT PLAYERS at the D-I level. Voss comes from a small town, small school, and his daddy wasn't an NFL QB.....BIG DEAL. That means nothing on the field. Why don't you get your panties out of a bunch and wait and see how things play out on the field there Nostradamus.

Also, as mentioned on another thread, Voss and Simms are both 3-star QBs in both Rivals and Scout.

mike and mike stated today that simms is 12th or 13th qb prospect in country

cards think the world of simms

i will trust those 2 sources as well as other materila i have read as opposed to bull fans that think with their hearts

usf has no track record with quarterbacks

calling me uniformed when you think voss is a better recruit than simms is foolish

voss has a 50-50 chance of not qualifying or playing another position as playing qb for bulls

i hope voss becomes greatest qb ever to play the game leading bulls to 52 straight wins

good luck to him
