He is in his 10th Year of coaching football ... same as Leavitt.

O'Leary is 60-49

Leavitt is 61-39

Is this a typo on O'Leary or did he lose a lot of Bowl Games ?

Not a type-o.  O'Leary having 10 more losses doesn't necessairly mean that he lost more bowl game, just means he's coached in more of them.  In addition, he coached in 3 games in 1994.  He is 2-5 in bowl games as head coach.

33 of Leavitt's 61 victories were against Div I-AA, Div II, and even NAIA teams.

Leavitt has 28 Div I-A victories under his belt and obviously zero bowl wins.

I enjoyed watching O'Liar while at Georgia Tech. He is a good coach that just made a bad decision (see lie) and then made a worse decision (see ucf)......

GOL is nothing special

that is why he is at a non bcs school after coaching for 10 years

leavitt looks 20 years younger

Remember, guys like Leavitt and Petrino didn't move to a BCS school.  The school took them for the ride.

Good coaches can work at non-BCS schools.

Easy boys ... this is not a flame baord ... I was asking a legit question becaues both coaches coached the same number of seasons and and you can have only so many games in a season ... except Bowl Games.

AND ... I love it when people bring up the wins against 1AA teams ... we WERE a 1AA team also ...

::)  :P

This is not a UCF/USF thing ... just a simple question about your current coach ... a bit defensive ae we ... just not on the field  ;)
