Exactly! Trent and Brad were team players and Marino wasn't..... which was too bad.

Come on... be serious.  Marino even took pay cuts to help the fins get players.

Marino never had a supporting cast (except for the early stages).

Ummm... the era seems right... I was young, but I remember the news.  People did not ask him to do it... he was a team player.  He wanted to get a ring for the city.  He still lives in Miami.
