yeah -- i think RJ played in the Arena leauge for a little while..

Ron Smith, the big alum, a member at Tampa Palms helped RJ out alot.  Whether it was all legal, i don't know, but RJ was a real good guy.

I def remember Jason Butler.  He was a pretty decent player too.  Pretty funny stuff.

And Butler had that nerve damage that he played through ... tough kid.

Yep, I was at the first game too.  What a great experience.  I took my 8 year old nephew to the game and now he's 18.  Unbelievable.  First ever game would have been back in '83 to a hoops game.  My sisters went to USF back then and one was a cheerleader and she introduced me to Charlie Bradley (which answers question #3).  Greatest defensive player, I'd say JR Reed.  As far as praise for informative posts, I'd have to say Eric Soncrant.  He keeps us posted on a daily basis.  As far as Bulls enthusiasm, I'd have to go with ET or Mutt (who I met in Charlotte with the better half Bubbles).

1. When was YOUR first BULLS Football Game ?

R. Kentucky Weslyn.

2. When was YOUR first BULLS Sporting Event ?

R. I went to a few basketball games back in the '93-'94 time frame.

Didn't hit another until football season started.

3. Who was the first BULL Player you ever met & shook hands with?

R. I would guess Chris Iskra...over at Beef O'Bradys during the ECU

Cincy game wherein, had ECU won, USF was bowl bound.

4. Who is your Favorite Defensive Football Player for the BULLS ?

R.   I would say J.R.Reed.

5. If you could praise a particular member for their informative and engaging posts, who would it

be? (Only 1 answer)

R. Tough call...Bulliever doesn't post much, and Bien has some good analysis, E.T. keeps the

conversation lively, so I guess it would have to be smazza for health reasons. He ensures

that my blood pressure is as far away from zero as possible. :o

1. Kentucky Wesleyan, of course

2. USF baseball under Robin Roberts v. UNC Spring 1980 (Joe Perna smacks another HR over the scoreboard).

3. Jorge Azcoitia, hoops Spring 1980.  The first player I really got to know was Tommy Tonelli.  We're still friends.

4. Tough one....so many to choose from.  I loved Roy Mann (great hitter) and of course Kawicka and JR Reed.

5. Easy - SBien.  Always fun, never dull.

Normal
