The media guide says we held to UCF to only 2 first downs last year.  Is that right?  I know we dominated, but its hard to believe they only had two first downs considering they passed for over 200 yards.  Can anyone confirm this?  I was at the game, but I just don't remember after all the beers from the tailgate.

It also says Pat Julmiste had 0 yards passing, while he really had 100.

Obviously someone didn't QC a lot of these pages.

Well, except that the bull on the cover doesn't look like a Brahman Bull.  

That's not quite as bad as the UF goof... but if it's not Brahman, how hard would it have been to find a shot of a Brahman Bull ??

Patrick Lawrence Payton

March 12, 1982-June 22, 2001

Although Patrick Payton did not play in a USF game, he was rostered in 2000 and used a redshirt season. He will forever be considered as a member of the all-time roster. Payton, the son of Patrick Payton, Sr., and Deborah McCoy, died June 22, 2001 as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on the night of June 21 in his hometown of Miami, Fla. His mother accepted his framed jersey from head coach Jim Leavitt at USF’s 2001 Homecoming Game.

That is awesome.

Just saw the tribute to Patrick Payton... good to see they still remember our fallen Bull from 2000. RIP Patrick.
