Louisville is coming close, but they only want revenge, not a true rivalry.  As it keeps going it will become a good rivaly, but it's not their yet.

But that revenge factor means that L'ville is a helluvalot closer than anyone else in the rival dept. And not the revenge of just losing a game, we took a lot away from them that night besides just a game. Unless UCF joins the conference, that game will never be as meaningful as a BE game, with as much as stake. Winning or losing the UCF game will be nothing more than stupid fodder for message boards, maybe some co-worker/ friends razzing while the wins and losses of the BE games have a ton more implications ...

E.T. you hit it on the head. Last year, the UCF animals trashed our lots, started fights, and were the most drunken and obnoxious craetures of ilk I have ever seen congregated in one spot. As we were walking to the stadium, we were pelted by beer cans thrown at us and one of which almost hit my 3 year old granddaughter. I had to be restrained by some of my friends before I tore this punk a new one. They even were chastised by some other UCF fans for doing this.  UCF fans, the students that is, are nothing but animals let out of the zoo. Give them a beer and they think they are king kong. Crap like that doesn't deserve a rematch. Time will tell on this roadie if things have changed.    Reaper

At te beginning of the game outside the stadium, I had things thrown at me  : Nothing serious, but it's the freakin' point - and it was where the students were entering.

It's amazing that USF's administration would allow its athletic department to run up millions of dollars of debt and then, because of sheer arrogance, turn its back on a game that would no doubt be the biggest payday of the season.

1. Something tells me a nationally televised game on ESPN against Miami would be a bigger payday than UCF. And don't the Glazers/TSA get a chunk of the dogs and soda sales anyway?

2. But I'd rather play UCF than McNeese State

3. We just better friggin' beat the Lancelots again this year

USF needs to relax a bit and stop acting arrogant for sure.

We are giving them WAY to much poster board talk.  If we don't watch out we could get beat this year.

We need to settle down and just say "SURE"-- you want to play us.  We will play you.  Anytime an place.

They are an in-state rival.  Play the boys.  He does have some very good points.  The way you distant yourself from UCF is by beating the crap out of them every year.  We don't need to worry about reputation.  Just win big games and it will take care of everything.

A win over WV and UL will more then make us big time.

If UCF wants action, LETS PLAY BOYS!.
