Even Casey Fossum, as wild as he is, only allowed 2 hits to Atlanta in 6 innings last night.  The rays lost in 11 innings though.  Crowd was 21,290.  It didn't hurt that they gave out McGriff figurines.  Fred threw out the first pitch to (drum roll....) Urban Meyer!  Meyer got some boos, which I thought was hilarious.

Ya, but it's not like the D-Rays are pulling in much better. It took the Braves and a game that was marketed to UF alumni to get over 20k in house. Outside of a few games this year the Rays are averaging 9,300 on paper.

This new ownership better shape up and quickly or next year's motto will be 10 seasons...10 reasons NOT to believe...
