War Rube, Let's hope he gets that second look and is able to stay healthy. I would love to see him returning kicks for the 5 time world champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

He returned kickoff for TD and intercepted in end zone which was the key play of the game.

NFL ? I doubt.  he is ranked #81 in kick returner in AFL.

It happens a LOT more often in arena than in the outdoor game.  Last year AFL had 45 returns for TD out of 1670 returns, for 2.69%.  In the NFL, there were 12 TDs in 2137returns for 0.56%.  In the Big East there were 5 TDs in 321 returns (1.56%).  In the SEC, there were 3 for 385 (0.78%).  In the Big 10, there were 4 in 381 (1.05%).  In the Pac-10, there were 6 in 391 (1.53%).  In the Big 12, 2 in 401 returns (0.50%).  In the ACC, 3 of 437 (0.69%).  

I would not read much into the return in regards to DeAndrew Rubin's potential in the NFL.

So pessimistic Dr. Danny... This is something for Rube to build on... if you saw how he exploded through the seam, you would see why he might finally catch the eyes of the Lions coaches. Here's hoping Rube gets playing time this year... or he realistically will be back to the regular man's working world. He can't play on the practice squad anymore... so it's now or never!
