....of all-time, would anyone from CRM's era make that list? How about a top 10?

My personal list would be:

1a. Radenko Dobras

1b. Chucky Atkins

3. Fred Lewis

4. Bobby Russell

5. Hakim Shahid

6. Darrel  Coleman

7.  Reggie Kohn

8.  BB Waldon

9. Altron Jackson

10. James Harper

I like B-Mo and SoJo, but it's been really hard to make a connection with CRM's players and program.

How does anyone's top Bulls BB list not include:

Tony Grier--The first great bull in BB history

Curtis Kitchens--I believe the first Bull to play an NBA game

and the greatest Bull of all time.... still the leading scorer in Sun Belt conference history...Charlie Bradley

CB was more popular on campus and around town than Andre was.

CB and grier should make anyone's top 5 list.

Kitchens should be in the top at worst.

Perhaps there is a natural bias toward players that were around when you were an undergrad. That is certainly the case for most of my players, except BB, Reggie and Altron.

Bradley was a great player for USF but I have never seen him play.

I can understand about the bias/familiarity of the players you have seen in person.

if you don't know, there are 3 BB players with retired numbers.

Atkins, Dobras and CB

Guest BasketBull.

It pains me to no end that USF bball hasn't had more program accomplishments. And, of course, Dancing only twice says a lot... Chucky is the only legit NBA player we've ever had...

My top 7 Bulls are based on what they did/gave to the the program/fans (not to mention what I know about them) :

1) CB

2) Atkins

3) Dobras

4) Hakim Shahid

5) B.B. Waldon

6) Reggie Kohn

7) Altron Jackson

If it is what they gave to the fans... i'm not sure you should be putting BB or Altron on that list.

Giving up in the middle of a game isn't great for the fans.

They did score a ton and bring some attention in the media, so I understand them in that regard.

As far as giving 100% all the time (the anti-BB/AJ), two that pop into my head immediately are Cedric Smith and Choncey Asbury...... both great kids, too, I beleive.

Tough to narrow it down to 10, but here goes in no particular order (going with 10 guys I have seen play in person, so apologies to any Bulls prior to 1988):

Chucky Atkins

Radenko Dobras

Terence Leather

James Harper

Solomon Jones

Fred Lewis

Reggie Kohn

Hakim Shahid

Brian Lamb

Cedric Smith

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
