Some just don't realize how gifted of an athlete the 'other kid' really is.

I would say less than Jeff George on both the talent and the, well I'll say "football sense."

I dunno Minotaur I've heard some people talk about Jeff George's 'football sense' and shall we say few should have problems overcoming that hurdle.

Jeff's arm might be stronger, but Jeff ran the forty in like four years not four seconds.

From Greg's Blog:

-- I have not spoken with quarterback Carlton Hill, but coach Jim Leavitt told me Thursday that Hill is not out of the woods yet when it comes to handling the academic issues that caused him to miss much of spring practice. To suggest that Hill has been cleared academically for the fall, he said, would be "absolutely untrue." Hill will be taking summer classes at USF with an eye toward improving his academic situation, and Leavitt said there is still a possibility he will redshirt this fall. There is nothing, Leavitt said, to suggest that Hill would line up at any position other than quarterback for the Bulls.

LOL, your probably right about the brains and George ran the 40 like he WAS 40. Believe me I wish nothing but great things for the Hill. Where he goes, USF will follow. I am not a bulliever yet. I hope in 3 years I am scratching my head wondering how I ever could have doubted him.

I always like to give credit to smazza when he says something correct or profound.

How may top college QB's have academic problems?

Very few. Being a top quarterback requires intelligence (unless you're a genetic freak like Vince Young) so most top QBs are very smart. It's particularly true in the NFL.
