budgets have everything to do with how successful programs are. just ask Texas and their $80 mil budget. Think their porgrams could have the same success  on our budget? do you think coach K from Duke would come coach us for Mac's salary?

Beastie... the teams that have had success (albeit infrequent) on a low budget aren't members of the big east or any major conference.  Money is very important, especially when you guys are all calling for hiring of someone like Huggins.  Break out the checkbooks.
