what was wvu's class ranked last yr with the stud rb and qb that helped them with the sugar bowl?

Only one of the players came from that class . White was recruited in 2004.

That being said, WVU has done a lot with their recruits. They average a class around 40th in the ranking each year. However, I think many of you on here overestimate WVU like everyone else did. They will have a big target on them next season and this conference will be much tougher.

There will be a point where Pat WHite has to make plays with his arm next season, which he hasn't had to do yet.

we are sinking further from the pack

we are not in west virginia, pitt,louisville's league

and the rest of the league caught up with us

that is the point that people like Smazza fail to realize.

just because someone is 2 star doesn't mean they wont be a player.  likewise, if someone is a 5-star player doesn't mean they will be an all-american.

in 2 years lets look back on this class and rank them at that point

The reason for White being a two star had to do with an injury and then the fact that he decided he wasn't sure what position he wanted to play. If you look the guy was sought after by many large schools including LSU (where he originally committed), Bama, and Auburn.

All three told him he'd have a chance to play QB after JaMArcus Russell committed at LSU he saw that there was no chance for him to be a QB there.

He then was borderline Bama, but they were more about making him a WR and wouldn't guarentee he'd be a roster QB.

WVU told him he would be a QB and stay there.
