Jewbull Posted February 1, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 479 Content Count: 1,991 Reputation: 15 Days Won: 0 Joined: 02/04/2002 Share Posted February 1, 2006 At first I was surprised we were ranked so low, because we are located in one of the three best states to recurit athletes (Fla, TX, CA), and we are a BCS conference however the Big East is probably the 6th best conference in College Football therefore if your a recruit would you rather play for a bottom ACC, PAC 10, Big 10, Big 12, SEC, School or USF?? Some kid that played at a small school in the middle of nowhere in kentucky is better than a kid out of Miami that had less stats but against greater competition.These ranking are determined by people in the state. I just look at who they offers from and that will tell if a kid is 4star, 3star, or 2 star.plus our linebacking corp were 2 star recruits. And last time I checked, they are as good as anyone.
