Chi...Prep school is basically a 5th year of High School. It allows the player a year to get his grades up to qualify and still have 4 years eligibility in college.

Chi, usually those schools are for guys that barely didn't qualify. I dunno about payment...

There are lots of different types of "prep schools"....USMA, West Point has a prep school to prepare students who applied to USMA but didn't quite meet all of it's standards to get accepted to the Point.

Accordind to the St Pete Times  Stirrups failed the English part of the FCAT and doesn't have the numbers on the SAT's to get into USF.
