I see occasional references to the growth of the fan and support base as "Bull Nation"...yet the University has a marketing program designed around "Bulls Country":

In this time of no football, I thought I would ask for a clarificaton.  I refer to the body popular as "Bulls Country"...is that right?

Should we all try to stay on point with the University program and be the "Bulls Country" outpost in cyberspace?  Would it help develop the geographical and mental picture they are trying to facilitate?

Don't look at this as a weak attempt to steer attention away from CJL's grey sweatshirt, this is a legit offseason question.   ;)

My take is that the surrounding areas around the USF campus is called Bulls Country. Many of the businesses are using the Bulls Country term since they are basically near the main campus. On the other hand, Bulls Nation is pretty much all the USF fans that are around the nation or world such as Brad, Sheriff, ChiTown, smazza, SCBull, etc. You fans and all USF fans represent Bull Nation. Once in a while some of you out of town USF fans make a trip back to USF Bull Country where you will see a lot of Green and Gold. There is no place like BULL COUNTRY!!!!

The "Nation" thing seems overused around sports. "Country" seems more original .... at least I haven't seen it used much.

Both are just microcosms of the entire, vast Bulliverse.

Is that a recent image of the sign?  It does not have the new iconic "U".

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
