It's been documented that off-campus stadiums have better attendance than on-campus stadiums where schools are located in major metropolitan areas...... USF is just using common sense here.

This has been pointed out and argued many times Triple_B.  Some people are just more concerned with doing what the "Jones's are doing" to care if it makes sense.

I.d say the new stadium will be built some where between MLK and Columbus, right next to Dale Mabry ;D

St. Leo is trying to go Div II.

That's right, they are DII this year.

They have refused to even scrimmage USF for years b/c they know they'll get stomped. So pathetic. Next time you see one of their players, ask them why they are so afraid of USF lacrosse.

Good luck to them though, nice to see a NCAA team in FL. Great accomplishment. Let's do it at USF now.

Question for Eric.....

Does the university have a plan or is it considering an OCS in the next ten years?

As of right now, I do not believe there are any plans for an OCS in the next 10 years.  I believe that the above plan of revamping the athletics facilities as a whole will take no more than 10 years.  If someone else has a different perspective, please post here.
