housed by a few bad teams

I think coach has FAU circled on the calendar especially with the dirty hits on BB.  If we get up, expect to drop a hundo.

On UAB, yeah they are the new Rutgers.

I don't think "We" do.  I think most believe we'll have about 7-8 wins this season.

7 to 8 wins although a small step up would be disappointing imo. Anything less than competing for the AAC championship is not a successful season  tbh. Come on people this is not the CCS,  CSH, or CJS era this is the CAG era. And with that said everyone should know by now that this ain’t the same ol SOUTH FLORIDA! My brother!!!

USF is going to smoke both of them…

I'm with you. The turnaround from 1-15 to 7-6 was fantastic, that being said we were still a .500 team in conference, and I don't think any wins were vs teams that finished with a winning record. We are moving in the right direction, but I expect Memphis to be hosting the AAC Championship.

USF has Memphis at RJS. I expect USF to win that game. I was not too impressed with Memphis when they beat our 1st year HC CAG. Things are different now. I only see maybe one possibllt two losses on the schedule this season and it won’t be a loss against Memphis.

I don't expect Tulane to dip much. They could be the frontrunner in the conference right now. If I were to say, preseason, Tulane/Memphis/USF top 3, in that order. I also think CAG's ability to develop and consistently get better is greater than the other two coaching staffs, but I do not think we saw great preparation last year game to game. If we prepare better for each opponent this season, I can see us competing for the conference this season.

As long as USF doesn’t find a way to clinch the best AAC record this upcoming season.

Yeah, another home game.  Friday I am taking PTO and doing a major Tailgate event.

Yeah me too. Only thing is that I see Tulane becoming more of a team that wins on defense with that Troy St coach coming in. Think their offense may take a step back. With that said that game up in NOLA will probably end up deciding who hosts the AAC Championship & it’s gonna be USF….

Of the six victories last season, five of them were against teams that were <=.500 at season's end. The only team finishing the '23 season with a winning record was FAMU.  I think seven wins is a fair expectation with eight being surprising.  If you want to watch the AAC championship in person, gonna need a boarding pass. 😎
