USF terminates design-build contract for its new football stadium

Being in the industry this usually happens when the builder can't honor original bid prices. Usually arrising from change orders, material increases, completion date, or even internal financial (construction company) issues.

 

I hope we come out in a better situation than with the original contractor but I have my doubts.

This injects fear.  We’ll likely never know.
