Agree with Darek wondering about the 2 AQ's from one conference but I assume the AAC having 2 somehow involves this from the NIVC site:

Multiple-division conferences receive one NIVC automatic berth. The qualifying process is the same as that for single-division conferences. However, if a conference designates more than one top seed (i.e. a No. 1 seed for each division), then the conference office shall determine, before its conference tournament begins, a seeding order for NIVC purposes.

Just as a note, USF's RPI was 99 (out of 334) before Wednesday. The win over #58 Rice should bump them some.

So it looks like the Bulls will be playing in a post season tourney! If they dont get selected to the NCAA tourney, they are auto qualifiers for the NIVC tournament! So either way it looks like we'll have more vball!

As expected, no NCAA bid. We'll have to see how things pan out in this other tournament.

Well, that kinda sucks fan wise (Cool Bulls v Bulls, though). They try to place geographically but looks like why we got the short end of the stick out of all the AAC teams. We go all the way up to St Johns. WSU hosts, which makes sense, and Tulsa goes there. East Carolina hosts. UNT stays in-state at UTEP. FAU also goes to UTEP, which may match our travel.
